Hair. I am incredibly picky about my hair. I like what I like and will go the extra mile to wear it how I like it. Over the years, I’ve experimented with a few different things, like wearing extensions and box braids. But most recently, I’ve really enjoyed wearing my hair a touch shorter, colored and straight.

Being the natural that I am (meaning that I have naturally curly hair), I spend a lot of time manipulating my hair. And while I have no regrets about wearing my hair like this, I do know that it requires extra TLC to ensure that it remains healthy and to keep the damage at bay. And that’s where Pantene Pro-V Miracle Rescue Collection comes in.

For those who have been around for a minute, you might remember that I shared about Pantene Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shots back in May of 2019 and how it aided in helping me rescue my hair from all the festival styling, which can include a lot of manipulation too. Well, the Pantene Pro-V Miracle Rescue Collection stemmed from those rescue shots and is now an entire range of treatments that allows you to rescue your hair, so you can be #ReadyForMore! For me, the more will be more HEAT, because I am loving my hair sleek and neat these days.

Just to give you a little more detail

let’s unpack Pantene’s Miracle Rescue Collection and what makes it truly great. To put things simply, this collection aids in reversing the damage you cause to your hair. As I have shared, your girl (aka me) loves her hot tools, which isn’t a bad thing, but it is important to be aware of the damage it does to the hair follicles. On top of that, I have newly colored hair. So naturally, my hair is a bit more fragile. In knowing this, I am deep conditioning every other week to ensure that my hair is getting rescued and recharged regularly. The Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment is great because it adds intense moisture. With a combination of pro-vitamin B5, strengthening lipids, and protective antioxidants, these deep absorbing nutrients give my hair just the boost it needs. To further strengthen my bi-weekly deep condition, I can add in a few pumps of the Miracle Rescue Moisture Mix-In Treatment for an extra dose of nutrients. Just two weeks before I got my color refreshed, my hair was feeling particularly dry and this combo did just the trick to refresh my hair, leaving it hydrated. When applying either the Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment with the Miracle Rescue Moisture Mix-In Treatment, I apply the product roots to ends and combo through with a wide-tooth comb, leaving in for 1 to 3 minutes and then rinsing!

Because I regularly heat style my hair, I have to be really cautious of split ends.

In fact, I keep my hair trimmed very regularly because of this. But in addition to that, it’s nice to have an at-home product that contributes to giving you that extra boost you need. The Miracle Rescue Intense Rescue Shot is packed with pro-vitamin B5, replenishing lipids like the other products above, but also includes moisturizing glycerin and an amino acid duo that is perfect for colored and heat damaged hair. I like that you can use it in place of your deep condition or as needed, depending on what your hair needs.
